How to identify the quality of LED lamp tape:
The LED light belt market is intermingled with the good and the bad, and the prices of products from regular manufacturers and shanzhai factories vary greatly. But we can carry on the preliminary identification from the simple appearance, basically can distinguish the quality is good or bad.
It can be identified from the following aspects:
1. Look at the solder joint. Regular LED light belt manufacturers produce LED lamp strips using SMT patch technology, using solder paste and reflow soldering. Therefore, the solder joint on the LED lamp belt is relatively smooth and the amount of solder is not much, and the solder joint extends in an arc from the FPC pad to the LED electrode.
2. Look at the quality of FPC. FPC is divided into two kinds of copper and Calendering copper, the copper foil of the copper-coated plate is protruding, which can be seen from the connection between the pad and FPC. The Calendering copper is closely connected with FPC and can be bent arbitrarily without the phenomenon of pad falling off. If the copper clad plate bends too much, the pad will fall off, and the high temperature during maintenance will also cause the pad to fall off.
3. Look at the cleanliness of the surface of the LED lamp belt. If the LED lamp belt produced by SMT process is used, its surface cleanliness is very good, and no impurities and stains can be seen. However, if the knockoff version of LED lamp belt produced by hand welding process, no matter how the surface is cleaned, there will be stains and cleaning marks.
4. Look at the packing. Regular LED lamp belt will use anti-static reel packaging, generally 5 meters a roll or 10 meters a roll, and then the outside use anti-static moisture-proof packaging bag seal. And the fake version of LED light belt will be cost-effective, and use recycled reel, and then there is no anti-static and moisture-proof packaging bag, a closer look at the reel can see the appearance of marks and scratches left when the label is removed.
5. Look at the label. Regular LED light belt bags and reels will have printed labels on them, not printed labels.
6. Look at the attachment. The regular LED light belt will include instructions and specifications in the box, and will also be equipped with LED light belt connector or card holder; while the fake LED light belt box does not have these accessories, because some manufacturers can save after all.
